5sfe to 5sfe

I have a 1991 Toyota Celica GT with a blown 5sfe, and I just bought another 5sfe for a 1992 Mr2. I still have my Celicas wiring harness and ecu but will that work on the 5s i just bought? There are some clear differences in between them (valve cover, intake design, ect) but would i be able to use my old harness and ecu or is it more trouble then its worth and i should just go search for a 92 5sfe ecu and harnass. Also will I be able to use my clutch and tranny with the newer style 5s? Any info would help thanks

You can swap over everything from your old 5s, manifolds, any brackets, your clutch and transmission. You're going from a rev 1 to a rev 2, I'm not entirely sure of all the differences, but I would just use all the wiring and sensors from your old engine. The only one that will be extra IIRC will be on the new engine there will be a knock sensor, when your old engine did not.

One difference between the rev1 and rev2 that I noticed right away was the flywheel. The on one the rev2 motor has 8 blots into the crank and the flywheel is pretty thin and the rev 1 motor has a heavy flywheel and 6 bolts going into the crank if I remember right
