gen 7 Celica GT 1ZZFE internal mods

I got a Celica GT 2000 and I'm slowly modifying it.

When it will come to tuning the engine, I though about Monkey wrench racing lightweight crankshaft, forged connecting rods and 11:1 compression pistons. But I was wondering: with the new pistons, will I have to tune the engine management computer? Is there something else I will have to change in order to make the engine more powerful and long-lasting?

btw: Sorry if my writing isn't that clear but I'm not used to write in english...
