V6 in a 4th...never heard of that before...

realistically though it all comes down to how much you have to spend...

expect a 5S-GTE to cost in the neighbourhood of $4000-$5000...I know been their done that....

been done in a fifth. im pretty sure all the mounting points are the same. i wouldnt think they would have changed...pretty much the same engine just a bit bigger. 1mz bolts up the same way the 5s does in a fifth gen. i dont think thats changed...so i might be in luck. still planning right now.

im getting a 93 5s for free, so thats a gimmie except for machine work. plus another 400 to get the entire motor cryo treated. the cost...is getting the ge part in there. im thinking about just getting a ge engine and then turboing that. i think that would work better

which ever swap you decide to go with, it wont be cheap...

FYI 90-91' 5S blocks are the blocks of choice when it comes to putting a 3S-GTE head on...has to do with the coolant passages lining up properly...

realistically, starting with a good plateform is a better idea...keep it simple stupid(KISS)...when you start getting into hybrid Frankinstien motors the price, complexity, time, and headache all increase significantly...

one must also consider what they intend to do with the car...I always say that a turbo car is great for the wide open road where a supercharged or all motor monster is better suited for street/track IMO...

yeah, ive almost totally talked myself into the v6. lol now to worry about traction. anyway i figure that itll be alot easier to get a clip with that engine in it. i can always drive to a junkyard and get a front cut. sure, i gotta find one...but my uncle has a junkyard actually, one of the biggest in the south. so im thinking that might be a better option.
