Eliminating fuel cut by installing a new ECU is overkill. You can illiminate fuel cut for free by simply plugging the vacuum hose that leads to the boost pressure sensor and the sensor itself. But remember, if you totally illiminate fuel cut, there is no safety measure to prevent over boosting.
I'm using the Greddy ProfecII Electronic Boost Controller. It has a feature that will automatically reduce the boost pressure to whatever you set it at, to prevent spiking and over boosting.
You can also, for about $90.00-$100.00, get an HKS fuel cut defensor. You connect it to your ECU.
With this, you can totally illiminate fuel cut, or raise the fuel cut boost pressure to 17 or 19psi, a safety feature to keep from over boosting.
I'm also using this, set at 19psi, but I'm using forged internals and an ATS CT27 turbo.
