90 gts into 87 gts engine swap

Have a 90 Gts 5sfe wrecked car and a 87 Gts 3Sglec(i think)with a blown motor. Can I swap the 90 into the 87? What would be involved? Would I just swap the long blocks or the entire engine assy ? transmission?

i am in the middle of doing this very thing atm and i swaped in an entire 5sfe into my 88 gts the motor is a direct swap and i would also recommend to use the tranny off of the 5sfe

now the problem with this swap is the electrical it is by far the hardest part of this swap and if i had the extra money i would have sent it to dr tweak and let them redo the wiring harness for me but it is possible to do your self just make sure you swap out everything that goes with the new engine

let me know if you need help with anything else

yeah i didnt have a choice i spun a rod and it put a 4 inch long gash in my cylinder wall and i pulled an engine at the junk yard that i thought was a 3sfe and it ended up being a 5s

well its definantly possible and like i said the wiring is by far the most difficult part
