Transmission Fluid capacity for 4th Gen

What is the recommended fluid capacity for a 1988 Toyota Celica liftback with a 3S-FE engine? And what brand/type of Tranny Oil? If you will. I'd appreciate it.

For any kind of capacity or fluid type, I've always used amsoil's website. Of course they list their product for what is required but give the necessary weight and type.

For both the manual and auto it lists ATF, at the time it was Dexron II. Although 75w90 can be used in the s53 transmission as well. In 92 toyota changed the recommended fluid to 75-90 for the same transmission. I have a pretty bad grind in 3rd so I'm actually running pennzoil synchromesh fluid. I know its only a bandaid but it has helped.

auto- service 2.7qts, total fill 6.4 qts
manual- 5.5qts
