1995 celica st engine swap

i have a 95 celica st. I was thinking about doing an engine swap, but could not find much information on what engines will fit this vehicle. I have been told that engine swaps for toyotas are pretty difficult, but if anyone has any information I would appreciate it. Thanks.

i Have a 94 celica st and am in the middle of an engine swap myself and the engine swap is not hard itself its the wiring the has to be done after that is so difficult but if your up for the challenge

any "A" block engine will fit
so a few examples would be
4afe "what im swaping because i got it free"
4age 16 or 20v
4agze "most difficult because of the added super charger may cause problems

if i had a choice i would go with the 4age 20v paired with the 6 speed tranny if you can get ahold of one
