Another celica wheel fitment question!!

Please excuse me for asking a question which has probably already been covered, but I couldn't find an answer in my forum search.
Will the '94-'99 alloy celica wheels, fit the '92 celica? I have a '92 with steel wheels, and would like to put on a set of '99 alloys that I can get for $100. Thank you.

by 92 they all should have been 5x100. the celicas all after this point were that lug pattern. 90-91 STs hade 4x100 while the gt and gts of those years had 5x100

Thanks guys!

Thanks to both Bitter and Rob for the info. That tirerack site is definitely a great resource tool, and the history lesson is also appreciated.

sorry.. But the backspacing and offset confused me in tire rack.. (what should I look for in another wheels so I know it fits my 96 celica (st).. Are there any other cars's wheels that will fit on her?? I already tried a 89 supra wheels and a 93 camry wheels.. No luck so far..

Well you have to actually look at cars with the same 5x100 lug pattern first. Don't worry about the term backspacing, thats really only used for trucks or much older domestics. Offset is essentially how far the mounting surface of the wheel (where the wheel touches the hub) from the center line of the wheel. Basically, how much the wheel is recessed or sticks out (the higher the + offset the more it sits back in the fender, 0 or higher negative offset the further it comes out from the fender). Ideal offset for these cars depends on the width of the wheel you plan to use. It would be around +35 ~ +40 offset for 7" wide wheels. As for other cars with wheels that fit, newer 5 lug Corollas, 2000+ celicas (celica GTS wheel looks great). Also some Volkswagen and many Subarus use 5x100 but I'm not sure of their offsets.

Not too many cars use the 5x100 lug pattern. most use 5x114 sadly. I found my wheels through craigslist with Kuhmos for a very reasonable price. To be honest, if you're looking for another car's wheels, I'd try to find the 5 spoke 7th gen celica wheels. They look very nice on the previous models. Otherwise, a lot of aftermarket options are out there.
