Suspension opinions and suggestions?

I have a white 94 gt and I want to autocross it. I'm looking for a set of struts that are reliable, not goin to bounce my gf or any passengers to hell on city streets, but something that is performance driven that will give me the grip I am looking for. Now I ran eibach pro springs on my 99 Camry and liked them a lot, so I'm thinking of going for the same on the Celica. But I need opinions on struts. I've heard a lot of good about the tokico hp blue struts, but was interested in any information anyone has for me on others or any other tokico strut.

I've heard varied opinions on coilovers but most say they are noisey and irritating on city streets.

Also, anyone have any good ideas for cat-backs? Or manifolds for 5sfe? I can't find the obx one I had on my camry anymore and it's not for Cali emissions

I am running KYBs with H&R springs and am very happy with the set up. It can be a little rough sometimes but nobody's ever really mentioned it, so it can't be too bad.

I know some guys are running Konis, I've heard they are very good, but I couldn't justify the cost. I've heard good things of Tokicos as well. I'd say avoid true coilovers for the street. I almost went with Ground Controls, it would be nice to have the adjustability, plus the linear spring rate is better suited for performance.

I have the m2 (ebay) brand header on my car and was surprised at the quality for the price, I picked it up for ~$100

I found the header you're talking about. Any fitment problems? Or does it line up correctly?

Where can I find tokico white's or blue's? Do they make them for 94-99 celica's?

I had no fitment problems at all. Everything lined up as it should. I did need a new gasket where it met the downpipe, the one that came with it was useless. But an OE replacement worked fine.

I would check through shox.com. I would recommend calling them though, I did and to cover a little extra shipping they knocked a nice amount of money off for my springs. They seem to have good customer service.

I just checked their site, they didn't list tokicos on the site, but it doesn't hurt to call and ask to see if its something they can still get ahold of.
