I dont blame you, man. I'm in HS and have a .. well decent paying job, but only on 3 hrs a day, so doing projects on any car is hard. I bought an 82 Celica GT with the 22R carbureted engine, and it needed tons of work. I bought it for 400, and have put that much into it on a new water pump, tires, thermostat, radiator, and the list keeps growing. You gotta admit, the 82-85 Celicas are pretty cool looking both inside and out, and they tend to run really good for a really long time, but it can be quite costly. Mine has 234,000 miles on the original engine and tranny and everything, only 1 dent in the car, and the interior barely has one tear in the seat, so I am pretty proud of it, but it is starting to show its age through lack of power and a hunger for new parts. Either way, I love the ride. All of my previous and current cars are 60s and 70s American beasts, so this thing is a .. new concept for me. Well, just my opinion I felt like sharing. Later.
