Which Celica is most spacious?

Hi guys, i need some advice please

ive always liked celicas and am in a position to buy one now, i have a new born baby and was wondering which model of celica is most spacious?

My partner told me that she saw a celica that had big seats in the back but i have only ever seen celicas with very shallow seats. Baicially is there any models that could fit a standard car seat in, I already have a car seat/pram ect so i dont really want to change car seat.

I also noticed in a family members celica that it had a lot of boot space (not sure which model) are all models bootspaces very big?

Any advice is greatly appreciated
David

I have a 6th gen Coupe, and I manage to get my three year old in with car seat and wife. Granted its not all that great for long trips, but local commutes its fine IMO.

ok mate, what defines the celica as a 6th gen? and are there differnet sized rear seats in different models or are they all the same? (i only like the new look celica with the air intake on the bonnet not the really old ones)

Basically what are the newer models/options?

Thanks, David

I believe you are referring to the 7th gen celica. That would be the 2000+ model.

The 6th gen that spider referred to is a 94-99 model.

As far as I know, the backseats were never really any different on the 2000+. I can't comment on those though, as I've never tried to get into the back seat. However the back seat on my 5th gen coupe is not very useful, the backseat itself is a decent size, but the roofline is quite low and getting passed the front seat is a pain for me.

Yeh youre right rob it is the 7th gen celica that im after, thats a start i didnt even know the difference, i suppose the best thing i can do is find a garage with a 7th gen (im gussing they will know what i mean if i say 7th gen) celica in it and have a look for myself. Thats unless anyone viewing this topic has a 7th gen and can give me some indications as to how big the rear seats are

Cheers, guys
