1987 celica gt headgasket replacement

Hi all, had my car sitting for awhile, since I was trying to find the coolant leak. Well I found it, but the oil is full with coolant. How hard is it to replace the head gasket, and what kind of damage am I looking at internally? Any help would be grateful since I really don't want to get rid of this car

It would be faster and cheaper to swap in another motor.
If it's been sitting for awhile, you're probably gonna need a complete rebuild.
You don't wanna risk doing the top end and then find out you've got bearing knock.
Don't ask me how I know that...
