What's the best way to get one going?

What's the best way to get a meet going and how hard is it to do? I've been seeing a lot of Celica's up here in the northeast and especially a lot of my generation at Rochester Institute of Technology and I'd like to get a meet going for enthusiasts or even just owners.

Anyone here in the northeast have any experience with this?

Post in the meets section here. Most are mostly camry guys though, at least here in the mid atlantic area. Post between a lot of forums. 6gc, celicatech, newcelica, alltrac, and mr2oc to name a few.

Pick a place. Confirm with owners of area that it's OK to do it there.
Pick a route for a cruise.
Plan a meal somewhere or do one at the meet site.Maybe find a sponsor to donate food or provide at discount.
See if you can find a sponsor(s) that might donate something for door prizes.
Plan some kind of end of the day (or night) event(like bonfire , music at the beach or pavilion somewhere.
Asdvertise it (like Rob suggested) on various sites like this one.
Ask for people to sign up that are coming.
There's alot of things you can do.

Hmm. I've got a beach location that might work well for this.
