82 22R - Head Gasket?

When running my 82 Celica, it spits out some water combined with some carbon and stains my driveway. Would this be the head gasket? I wrote on this forum one day about it misfiring, and someone suggested messing with the carb, so I did that, cleaned it thoroughly, and it runs fine now, but it is still shooting out a minor amount of water from the tail pipe, and the exhaust sounds kinda funny, like there's water in the muffler and cat. Any suggestions?

Thats completly normal in the morning.
Hot exhaust fumes and vapors left inside the exhaust system after you shut off the engine the night before will stay there overnight and will condesate inside due to the lower temperatures hence when you start your engine in the morning the exhaust gases generated by the engine will push this water out

Well, my problem is the opposite. In the morning it doesnt tend to do anything, but once it gets hot it begins to sound funny and leave deposits.
