ST202 / ST205 differences

How different is the unibody between the ST202 (GT, as I understand it) and the ST205 (GT-4, also as I understand it)? My brother's Celica has an unnaturally large gas tank (16 gallons, what the heck?) and I'm fairly sure there was a convertible GT-4... With the Camry, at least, the trunk was made significantly smaller to cram in the rear drive assembly. Is this also the case with the Celica?

You may just want to go to wiki or 6gc.net before you ask all these questions because you seem to know nothing about the 6th gen celica.

The "ST202" is for the st model, ST204 is the gt.
Not much is diff besides the rear end.
The reason the tank is so big is because thats wat they wanted to put in there.
The GT4 never came conv. or coupe, liftback only.
and the camry nvr came awd(in the us), unless it was the wagon.
No the trunk is not diff. the only change is no spare well.

As I said, it is my brother's. I know absolutely nothing about it, other than it is 2 wheel drive, white, and has a 2.2 liter engine.

I own an AWD Sedan Camry, so...

Edit: Can a mod delete this topic? I hadn't seen the sticky at the top of the page beforehand. I'm pretty big into 4x4 and offroad stuff so the modification doesn't sound too scary to me, but it's my brother's car.

Sorry for causing any unrest on the Celica board. I'll go back to Gen 2 Camry-land.
