1.- Not very hard, just disconnect both fuel lines and the filter itself and you are done. The only problem is space and light, the fuel filter is located half way down the firewall, south of the ignition coil, so there is not much space due to hoses and wires in the way.
2.- Not sure for how much a OEM filter goes for in your neck of the woods.
3.- Depends on your driving conditions and where you live, also where you usually get you gas from is a big difference. Some service stations never get their tanks cleaned so the crap in there will usually end up in your gas tank clogging your fuel filters.
