blinking A/C light

Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for some help on a problem that my 92 Celica GT 2.2 (54k miles, auto trans) developed over the last month. The A/C light has started blinking more often than not and when the light blinks the compressor clutch disengages. I've tested everything I know including jumping 12 volts to the clutch which makes it work fine; I've tested every fuse and connector I can find, and I've replaced the relay that controls the clutch. The R12 system is charged exactly where it should be and the A/C blows ice cold when the light doesn't blink. I've read where someone had the same problem and it turned out being the 'tachometer?' so I've tried unplugging the tach harness but the problem still exists. Any help/ideas/assistance would sure be appreciated as I dread having to take this car to someone.

Thanks,
Darrin
