mid gen 2.2l celica gts 90

my 90 gts celica is on its second engine another 2.2l at roughly 150k on the new engine with new mounts and im having wierd idle and acceleration issues i replaced my plug wire for #1 cyc and it stop the jerking at low rpm rang from 900-1700 rpms that lasted all but 2 day and its back as for my exhuast its an aftermarket custom stainless steel setup and all the brackets and straps are tight. Now this idle issue is odd when im in park or neutral with with my 4speed auto with the option to control the gear changes at lower/higher rpms the engine wont jerk when i shift from those into forward gear the engine 99% time will if i were to "floor it" respond in extreeme jerking and no power transfer at all now when im at a stop and in reverse the engine jerks as well about 50% time now im thinking i got bad wiring, sludge or a transmission on the way out >.< right now im thinking of changing my oil and seeing if the pans having a bad sludge day also when the car is at a stop and in park i manualy open the throttle body by moving the cable i get shocked as if i were being tazered like it hurt could this mean i have a short some wear also i notice i have large amounts of oil on the front part of the lower block plus on my rear bumper i have oil sploching from my exhuast i have 5-20 in should i switch it over when i do the oil change to go to 15-40w( i had an oil leak in my 96 2.0l neon and that oil stoped it) would this work?

Honestly this post is all over the place and I simply can not follow what you are trying to ask. Poor grammar and writing in one large block can seriously interfere with one's comprehension.

my 2.2 is acting up in regaurds to the rpm range its in and the gear its in.
1. while in park at idle no abnormal throtle response or movement
2.while in forward gear at stop into forward motion engine under acceleration the engine does not respond at all under load for any form of accel other than letting the car roll.
3.large abounts of oil found on front bumber side of engine block and on exhuast manifold.Exhuast is new from Cat to muffler, stainless steel and all bracketry and straps used for the larger than stock exhuast are tight.
4 inregaruds to oil found on engine block at read of car on bumper and tail lights oil sploches are found, exhuast tip is oily in residue other than the regular amount of carbon build up.
5. Could switching 5-20w oil to 15-40w oil stop oil leaking. Had simular issues with my 96 2.0L 14l neon which had gasket issues and switching to that type of oil helped.
6.When car is in N or P the throttle response is fluid and no abnormal response or movment other than the engine tourquing.

Okay can we split this into two different problems

Prob 1
1. While car is in P or N throttle response and engine revs with no problems.
2. In any Drive gear when you accelerate the car does not respond as in bogs down to the point it doesnt do anything.

Prob 2
1. Large amounts of oil was found on the front bumper
2. The exhaust shows oil and the spatter of the exhaust is evident on the tail lights and rear bumper.

Does this sound right?

5w20 is not the oil you should be running in this. Switch to 10w30, then re-evaluate your oil issue.

Is the engine missing, or bucking or does it just feel like it has no acceleration at all? once you get it up to speed, is the transmission shifting as it should? as in, its shifting to 2nd, 3rd, etc?

As for the shifting going from 1st to 2nd under moderate to hard acceleration it shifts at 5000 rpm roughly and when it shits its sounds like as if a large turbo was dumping the pressure and makes a distinct sounds almost like my old mans 440, its a really throaty kinda sound nothing at all like it should.once its shifted into second gear there no more hard shifting and it seems everything gets better.

As for the movement its like bucking it feels like the whole car lurches forward than you hear from the exhuast a sound simular to the shifting sound but its like a gagging sound.

ALSO the 2.2L in it isnt the 2.2 found in the 1989/1990 model the plug wires for the plugs are square and inset on the head. Its either the 2nd or 3rd gen 2.2l.

im also wondering whether the body is truly a 1990 as it has a wider body than the other 90 celicas it looks almost like 96 supra minus the large spoiler and minor thingts.

The GTS is a widebody, the fenders flare out more than a GT or ST

To me it sounds like if the hesitation is only happening in essetially one gear, not in the same RPM range in the next it will be a transmission issue. I really don't know much about autos so I won't comment on this one.

The 2nd revision 5sfe still has a channel that runs down the center of the valve cover thats lower and the plug wires are inset a little. on the third, there really isn't a channel and the plug wires are full inset. Also, the exhaust manifolds look different.
