EFI fuse keeps blowing

SO i think I tracked down the problem I noticed finally that the efi fuse was blown so I replaced it. As soon as I connected the negative side the new fuse blew. I tested it twice.

What can cause that? Any IDeas.

PS I do not have the key in the ignition its just as soon as I touch the negative terminal to the battery.

More Info
I have unplugged the
O2 sensors
Distributor
Ignition Coil
Igniter
Fuel Pump
ECU
All Throttle sensors TPS etc...

Currently I have ripping through the wires removing the electrical tape all on wires so I can see them and so far they all look good. I have checked my grounds as well. I have blown 12 fuses at this point.

I think I am finally getting somewhere.

I was going to take the valve cover off to get to the injectors as I have heard they can cause and efi fuse to blow. In order to do this you have to remove the throttle body and the it was, the wiring was resting against the egr tube. Which gets hot and melted through the tape and plastic right down to the wires. So I removed the wire that had been melted away redid it and tried again, finally the fuse is ok.
Now I just have to put everything back together to see if she will start. I unplugged and took apart alot of stuff.
