7th Gen. Celica Steering to 5th Gen.

I needed to know if a 7th Gen Celica steering wheel can fit to a 5th Gen Celica
Anyone with that info please let me know, would gladly be appreciated

It can fit, but the airbag will not work. I remember this has been covered a few times over on celicatech

Why won't the airbag work? Did 5th gen's not come with a drivers airbag?

They do, or at least most did as far as I know. as far as I know the connectors are different, I never delved too far into it, there may be a way to retrofit, but the circuits regarding the airbag are different.

Ah, ok. I figured the shot of voltage that fired the airbag was pretty much universally the same. If the airbag ecu is looking for a different resistance it would be easy to fool it.
