Pressure blew cam seal

I have a 1991 ST. Recently the timing belt stripped some teeth. I changed the belt. While I was in there decided to change the water pump, cam seal, crank seal, valve cover gasket, spark plug seals, etc. The next day the cam seal blew and I began losing alot of oil.
Wondering if anyone has any ideas about why this happened. I figure I now need to change the pcv valve, but still curious if the major pressure change could be something else...

^ Strong possibility. I would also check to make sure the valve cover vent tube is not obstructed.

I changed the cam seal (again), pcv & vacuum line. Blew the cam seal again. At least thats what it looks like. Too disgusted to look for a day or two...

worst comes to worst, it might be a broken ringland. my friends alltrac kept on blowing cam seals even after having them replaced numerous times. do a compression test to see what your numbers are. my friends numbers didn't come out to well..

The PVC valve is alot easier to blow then cam seal. You need to hammer the seal in. Also the dip stick will blow out first also.

Did you axle grease the seal before install? If you don't, the camshaft will rip right through that sucker.
