does anyone use something other than 5w 30 in their celicas?
My car burns oil and I experimented with different setups and found that 20w 50 doesn't burn but gives you crappy milage.

Please switch back to 5W before you cause MORE damage to your engine.
Thicker oil will burn less because it can't get between the cylinder wall and piston ring. Yea its like running the engine with no oil
The ONLY way to fix oil burn is the hone the cylinder and get new piston ring and seal.

I run Mobil One High Mileage synthetic blend 10w30 in my 5th gen Celica ST.

i run straight 30w with stp in it.

ive always hated blended oils.

You mean variable weight oils? Why?

you get easier flow, but you loose alot of protection along with it.

ever wonder why pure race engines run 50w oil?
