The 5SFE after 91 does not have an idle speed screw. The idle is computer controlled using the idle air control valve as well as other sensory inputs.

the 5sfe does have an idle speed screw right on after the intake. My local smog adjusted it last time I got smogged. mines a 90 though so I wouldn't know how to adjust it for strictly computer ran idle.

After 91 where your idle screw is located contains just a metal plug. There isn't any real adjustment for the 92+ models sadly.

you can adjust min throttle and re-calibrate the TPS to account for wear in the throttle stop. There is a small screw with a jam nut that can be adjusted, however you then have to perform a TPS calibration to let the computer know where the new 0% throttle is.

biiter is right but if you are having problems with a low or high idle then you need to find out what is causing that rather than adjusting the idle. If the computer can not get the idle with in range you have things you need to look at . Like the ICA or the Map sensor, oxygen sensor, vacuum leaks etc.

Honestly I've seen some older imports (this falls into the category) which have a low idle speed simply because the idle stop has worn slightly over the years. 1/2mm of wear there is a decent amount of throttle angle when you're talking about keeping a 700rpm idle speed or min airflow for startup. We had an Infiniti SR-20 a while back with 370K miles that would NOT idle, the head of the idle stop screw and the part of the throttle mechanism that contacts it were notched together from years and years of wear (it was a 93 G20) and at closed throttle the throttle was really closed! The fix was to adjust the throttle stop to give it atleast 500rpm of airflow in conjunction with the IAC (which sounded WIDE open to get that!) and calibrate the TPS to match...except the TPS didn't have that much adjustment! SO we got it as close as possible and told them that they would need some parts to fix it right, they said it was good enough and we haven't really seen it since thankgod. I bet the control arms fell off the damn thing.
