Installing door weatherstripping

For starters, I apologize in advance for being a newbie and not being able to find the answer.

I have a 1991 celica gts and I just purchased new door weatherstripping (the one that attaches to the body of the car).

I bought OEM (http://www.toyotapartszone.com/oem/t...382-20072.html) parts, but was wondering what I needed to install it properly.

In other words, does it just snap in or do I need an adhesive? Again, I apologizde for being a newbie.

i found this diagram by searching under your vehicle on toyotapartszone.com.

it shows all the related parts and how they fit together. looks like there is one fastener that has it's own part number, but is a subset of the part number to which you linked. it should be some kind of screw or pin that came with it. looks like the rest of it is held in by other moldings and parts. as i advised another person on this forum, use a manual i.e. chilton, haynes, alldata, etc. that has info on this because cabin interior parts have fasteners that are deliberately hidden for cosmetic reasons, and if you don't know where they all are, you are liable to break something trying to get it out.
