Runnig rich 89 CELICA

I have a 89 celica gave it a basic tune up wires,cap,plugs,ignition coil when i had every thing back together and fired it up once it warmed up sputters ruff idle and stalls i disconnect the map sensor it smooths out but when i drive down road smooths out until i am at consistent speed then it get jerky it has a 2.0 it any help would be appreciated thank you

its dumping a lot of fuel took new plugs back out and they were black

by any chance did you plug the spark wires in the wrong order. that will cause that kinda issues

All wire are on correct cap is numbered and also put on 1 wire at a time

Yes it was the maf sensor but and the check engine light wasnt on.
