celica 22r header type???

Hi, I just bought a little British car (LBC) with an '84 Celica 22R engine and tranny in it. The engine has the stock exhaust manifold that would like to replace with a header.

My dumb question (but I wanna be on the safe side): I'd like to use the "shorty" header that I see advertised for use in pickups. Any problems you can think of getting this to mate up with the Celica head?

Thanks for the advice!
Pete

I used to have a '86 4x4 with a 22re, but I can't remember the displacement. I think it was a 2.4ltr.
Anyway, this guy used a header from the 2.4 on his Matrix, which I think is 2.2 and it fit great.
Here's the link to the thread. Hope it helps:
2.4 header

Thanks for the reply.
I guess I should have asked "what shorty header will fit an '84 celica 22r"?
The pictures used by on-line sellers are different from vendor to vendor so I can't get a good idea of what I can make to fit in my conversion.

Original Toyota manifolds are usually restricted to a few years due to emission controls and various accessories (slightly different bolt positions).
Some details of 20/22R manifolds are here:

My understanding is that most aftermarket manifolds fit practically all 22R engines but best to ask the vendor if it fits your engine. Tell him the year (careful of model year vs calendar year differences around 1984) and your country.
