4AGZE/4AFE frankenmotor?

Hi guys, im building a 1991 celica ST, it has the stock 4afe in it, and i want to put a turbo in the motor thats already in the car, no i dont want to just drop another engine into it! lol

i have one question and i need a reply befor i order all the parts. will forged 4agze pistons, rods, and valves fit into the 4afe? and will the crankshaft fit into the block as well? if anyone knows i sure would be grateful to know, because i found a wrecked 4agze and i wont pay the wreckers for the parts till i know i can use them!

you do realize that to swap pistons and cranks and such you'd have to disassemble BOTH engines down to bare block, pull your engine, send it with the GZE pistons, rods, crank to the machine shop, have them hone/ring it, and install the correct bearings for the crank and balance it all together as a rotating assembly, then you'd need to assemble the top end, oil pan, etc then install it back in the car. You're literally doing 2x the work vs swapping an engine. take the wreckers GZE, take it apart, rebuild it with fresh cylinders and new correct bearings, get better pistons/rods/cams/whatever and have it ready to go and you can have it in and the FE out in a week easy which will drastically minimize the down time your car has.
