'89 Celica maintenance question

Hello! I was wondering if anybody knew how much changing the car's radiator would cost? Or if it is easier/cheaper to do it yourself?

Our family celica has a leak at both the top and the bottom. There is a crack on the top where the leak is coming from but I can't see where the bottom is leaking from.

Any input available is great! Thanks for reading!

The plastic tanks, after a certain number of years just become very brittle and crack, surprising that yours made it that long, maybe because of the climate

Estimates on price(varying due to models, availability, and local suppliers)
$100-$150 for a radiator
$20-$40 for new hoses (likely that you need those as well, possibly where the bottom leak is coming from)
$3 for clamps (OEM clamps are a pain, IMHO)
$5-$10 for a new cap (a good investment to make while you're there)
$15-$30 on coolant (remember if you choose straight antifreeze, to cut 50/50 with with distilled water only)

To have a shop do it, inflate all those prices by at least 10% and add 1-1.5 labor hours to the price (anywhere between ~$50-$90/hour depending on what kind of shop that you go to, even more if going to a dealership)

Honestly, I'd recommend, if you're fairly mechanically inclined, to replace it yourself. It is very straight forward on these older Toyotas. You can pick up a basic repair manual that will cover this and much more for ~$20-$25 or even find these materials online or through your local library for free, if you would like a bit of a guide.
