Hey guys, I need some help from the Celica gear heads on the board.

Just bought a 92 Celica GT (2.2L 5sfe engine) with a bad transmission. I have a spare 5sfe Automatic Transmission from a 92 camry, but do you guys know if the transmissions are interchangeable? I see on the celica transmission it has a transmission mount on the top side of the trans.

Bump. Is the A140E in the 92 Celica?

Well, I ended up buying the Celica Transmission for $378.00 shipped. Has 78,000 miles on it. I'm not going to waste my time and try to change it to the a140e if its not going to work
