VSV ... 209 Ohms...bad?

my vsv tested 209 ohms. when i pulled the connector out there was oil in it that had seeped in from a leak that i think i've now fixed (fingers crossed). could oil on the connections affect the resistance of the alligator teeth that i had clamped into them, or is this a bad vsv?

thanks!

The oil shouldn't have effected the test connection, but it may have effected the VSV.
As far as whether 209 ohms is bad, what is the spec for it?

Do you have a reason to think it's bad, or are you just messing with it?

33-39 ohms is what they say to look for. so it's a bit out of spec. the CEL had been blowing once in a while for EGR. the rest of the EGR system seems to test ok, but i'm not getting vacuum from the VSV line.
