1995 celica st need transmission

i'm looking for a manual transmission for my 95 celica st. cant seem to find one around here for a good price. on ebay i saw one for about 300 it has about 175k miles on it my car has 148 and is about to give out.

Where all have you looked? I would expect to be able to find one on your local craigslist (as in a car for parts, or a part out sale), part outs through forums, or maybe a pick and pull yard.

I believe the transmission code would be a C52, so the transmission would be the same as the corollas 93-97 with the 1.8L 7AFE, however corollas with the 1.6L 4AFE of the same year (and actually back to '88) came with a similar transmission, C50, but that is geared slightly lower for engines with slightly less torque.
