Gen5 Toyota Celica Starter wiring problems, need help!

Hey everyone,
Heres my problem, i was going today to replace my starter but first i made sure to check mine and make sure it was actually the starter that was the problem, turns out its a wiring issue and i was wondering where to begin i got a print out of the wiring locations for the starter and i was wondering if anyone knows of a fuse/switch that breaks easily on my car or if im just going to have to go down the check list i have and go from there.

by the way i have a 1990 toyota celica gt-s the 2.2 model.

Thanks
Chris
