turbo 3vzfe gt4 st185 celica

hi guys i am still here, and the new project is under way.........

now that my st184 3vzfe conversion is complete, i am now attempting to do yet another swap of first's...

i purchased this afternoon, another 3vzfe, i have already in my posession a gt35r turbo with .63 rear and .70 comp........ internally gated

aquiring a set of 7mtge 440cc injectors,
aftermarket standalone engine management system,
custom exhaust manifold, intercooler and piping....

so once engine is at home in shed, will be stripping all ancilleries off and mating it to the 4wd tranny from the celica gt4, best part of this conversion is the driveshafts, mounts, gearcables, clutch etc etc are all stock and no mods needed, except for the timing gear side engine mount which like the 184 conversion will need to be custom made......

so original setup will be standard wasgated boost at around 8.5psi......
and from what i have read its a nice number for the 3vz's capabilities and a safe boost level to start with,

once i have ground the block to the clearance to fit tranny, i will be adding head and main ARP studs, and sourcing a multi layer steel head gaskets.....

so stay tuned for pics.......

the donor camry for my turbo 3vzfe gt4........

Keep us updated. How much power are you aiming for ? 440 cc injectors are a bit on the small side .

final power aim is around 400whp

but for starters, i will just be running internal gates setting 8psi, 440cc injectors are fine for that and also the biggest i can go without fuel rail mods,

and i will definately keep you all updated........
