USA Issues after 2zz swap in 2003 Celica GT

Not sure if anyone else has run into issues after performing a JDM 2ZZ Engine/Transmission swap in their Celica GT's but I seem to be running into an issue with the Speedometer not being compatible with the JDM Wiring harness and am now throwing the following codes.

P0300, 301, 302, 303, 304 - Misfires
P0450 - Evap Pressure sensor/switch
P0500 - VSS Malfunction

If anybody else has run into this, what did you do to resolve the issue? Thinking of replacing engine wire harness and ECM but not sure.

Thanks in advance
~Mike

is it actually misfiring? how does it run? you can always run the wires for the speed sensor yourself and the evap stuff as well. Misfires could indicate a problem with the engine.

Runs fine until check engine light appears then progressively worse with loss of power and rough run condition at lower rpm. We've reset by disconnecting battery and it's good for a short while before check engine light comes on again and engine problems reappear.

For those who were following, the issue turned out that the mechanic installed the 1zz FE ECU instead of the 2ZZ GE ECU. Once we swapped in the correct ECU, everything started running properly.
