is this 5sfe crank swap possible?

I am rebuilding a '90 celica 5sfe. The bearing spun so i need a new crank. The boneyard has a good crank from a ' 95 Camry, The only difference I can see between the 2 cranks is the gear that drives the balance shafts.

Will the Camry crank work in my Celica(non-countershaft) block?

Yep. Later-model Camry 5SFEs have been swapped into Gen 2 Camrys without issue. You when doing the engine swap, you remove the balance shaft and reuse the 3S oil pan.

You can run the Camry 5S cranks without the balance shaft no problems.
