Hi guys.

I have an 88 celica GT and the tranny is on it's way out.

There is an 88 GT-S at a local Wrecker... I'm wondering

1. Are the axles interchangable between celica gt and GTS of the same year?

2. Will the whole tranny swap over? (mine is kinda old and tired, missing teeth on the flywheel etc.)

the axles would be, IF they are the same type, there are 2 types. there is a bolted flange type, and a straight connected type. as far as i know, the trannys are the same, down to the gear ratios.

the clutch and flywheel will be different unless you have the same bolt pattern on your crank. i know there are 2 different styles, and i dont know how to tell them apart though
