87 Celica Engine Swap with 89 Celica

I picked up a 89 celica for parts and my 87 celica needed a motor really bad so I have swapped the motors. Both motors are identical 3S-FE but the differences are in the injectors and wire harness. This seems to be where I am stuck because I can not seem to get fuel to the engine. Injectors are receiving a pulse as my noid lights do come on, my buddy who is a mechanic says they are getting 12 oms but can't seem to figure out why they aren't opening. The 87 had low resitance injectors the 89 has high resitance injectors I would swap the harness back but the 87 harness is no good. Fuel pump and pressures are good, spark is good. When I put gas in the air intake the motor runs until it is out of fuel and the cold start give me hope every time it fires. I am completely stupped.....
