ecu upgrade and speed sensor

hey,

Does anybody have any experience with disabiling the speed sensor,or upgrading the ecu?

I removed the ecu and was disapointed that the pins arent labeled.

Not sure what wire it is and I cant figure it out with the books
I have.

The wire color in the chilton book says L-W?
what color is that lavender white : ) ?

The diagram for the engine control looks like it has many more
pins then the actual ecu.

I put back the ecu

wanted to see how fast I could go without the speed sensor
I have read that it limits the engine so you dont blow it up
