I have a 1997 Celica GT convertible. The top motors have stopped moving the top up and down. They make noise like they are running but nothing moves any more. I am not sure if I need new motors or what? I have seen the motors and since they will always run when swithed on even if the top is all the way up or down, they must have some type of clutching mechanism. Not sure if I should try to replace them myself or take it to the dealer. Any Ideas on how they work?
