hello'neep help ...

hello ppl,
im adi from israel.
my dream is celica but in israel we only have celica gti 2000cc 150hp(non turbo) and its not going so fast, and expensive (51g for 93').

in israel this sports car isnt so popular ppl think that if u go fast ur a criminal, and the police go hard on us every meeting.

last month me and my friend zigi built our special project.
we took his ford escort rs 2000 and we built turbo (t2.5) on it.
the car going very very fast.we pused with impreza sti(standart) from 0-220kph.
and we were very surprise and happy to know that we are so strong to bit sti.this rs is very strong,by the way we were in only on 7psi !.
here is some pictuers about the building-
http://adzik_r.pic.co.il
(u can find there our first project,205gti-now with t3. i hope u dont laugh on our garage becuse we worked on my parking with out special tool like lift and stuff, this is how it gose on israel )

so far so good, now im thinking if i will built turbo on the celica, its good engine 2000 16v , but i dont have enough information abut some systems like fuel punps and ignition pistons rings and the base systems that i dont know if thay survive the pressure of bar or bar2. (i want to put there t3\4 balbaring)

if any one can plz help me with information i will thank him.

Wow...Escort RS 2000.... one of the greatest rally cars around, lots of power and handles pretty well... it will take on an Impreza any day of the week.

As for the Celica, I also have a 92 GT-i with the 2.0 lt engine (2nd Generation 3S-GE) and let me tell you that that 12 year old car can take on some newer ones eeeeeasy.

The 3S-GE is a great engine but if you are going to turbo it there are some things you should be aware:

- Engine compression is 10.5:1 that means you wont be able to put much preassure on stock internals, people run 7-9 PSI around here to be on the safe side, if you want to run higher preassure levels get some forged internals
- Injector are rated to 230cc but you can replace them with ST185 (Celica GT4) injector
- Fuel pump also a direct replacemen from a GT4 or Supra TT

I really doubt you can safely run a 3S-GE at 1 or 2 BAR on stock internals so I would really replace all internals

10x dude,

but in here its not so easy u see we dont have here supra,gt-s or any other toyota's sports car.its not so easy to find parts to the celica in israel(and its sucks!).
thats why i aked how the engine will hold high preassures.

10x for the information!
by the way, today we had meeting and i talk with a friend and he offer's me to buy his 92' 205GTI 1.9 with mi16 head in only 15g.

i prefer to built turbo on the celica but, money talks.

*if u want picters of our meetings , to see how its gose in israel i can show u.
