5th gen engine problems

yea i have a 91 st with auto (4a fe piece wanting to convert to 3s gte, lol) and for sum reason when i barely tap on the throttle the rpms will fluctuate and occasionally stall, i replaced the pcv valve and that stopped it. For a week, and now its back. Anyone no how to fix this? thanx

Vacuum leak? How many miles on your engine? I have a 4AFE too.

i dont think its a vacuum leak but ill check, it has about 68k on it

A dirty IAC can cause all kinds of problems with idle. I have seen a thread somewhere regarding the cleaning of the IAC, but I can't remember where.
I am not sure about the 4afe, but the 5sfe has coolant lines running to it, so if you remove it for cleaning, perhaps drain the coolant a little, and plug those hoses until you are done.
