exhaust recomendation

hi there seniors, could anyone give me a few suggestions on which particular brand of exhaust system i shd go for,

budget of about <500....

erm... i don't like those loud ass ones, drives me crazy, something with a low low hum, or deep low rumbling will do, nothing that will blow ur ear drums when u drive for more than 1 hr at a stretch...

thanx again ppl

Most exhausts come with optional silencers. They do wonders. What gen celica are you asking about?

I would go for a magnaflow or a flowmaster. They go more for performance.

If its a GT then go with custom piping (2.25 inch) with a quality muffler. If possible, run the exhust from the manifold back with an aftermarket cat. www.alltrac.net has sound clips of a few different exhausts, it won't sound exactly the same on your car, but you'll get an idea.
