need help with 88 celica gts

okay well ive got mass issues. i'm doing a swap for my girl's cousin. i've never messed with a celica. i need to know the easiest way to pull the motor. and the wiring harness has me all messed up. can you disconnect it from the fire wall or somehow just get it off the motor. also what are my options on what to drop in there. not trying to gain power, more worried about cheap and reliable. thanks for your alls help

If you want cheap and reliable put another 3SGE in there.
You don't need to pull the entire wiring harness out either, just unplug all connectors and tie it outta the way.

^ like he said. unplug it and pull it out of the way. shouldnt take more than about and hour if you dont know what you are doing. pull it right out of the top. pretty simple r2 procedures
