Hi, about two weeks ago the oil level light started coming on, and now is on permanently. Garage checked it out, plenty oil, pressure ok. Now I get the brake warning light and the battery warning light coming on randomly as well.

Any ideas ? Dead alternator ? Help ....

i had the same problem with my supra and celica. i replaced the altenator and all the lights stoped

Thanks for the reply, yeah it was the alternator. BUT ...

I just got royally ripped on this ... the b*****d at the auto electricians replaced the alternator with a brand new "genuine Toyota" alternator for ... ... ... £424.90. I checked with the dealer and that is the actual price, but surely there are cheaper alternatives for a car that age ????
