if you RAD is not boulding you might want to re-check your hoses, Rad hoses are air tight and if there is no pressure then you might either have a hole in the hose or on the rad, also check the hose clamps. To chesk for leaks in the hose the easy way is to spray water on it and see where it bubbles. <MIKE>

So as some of you may know, last wednesday I took it upon myself to replace my rad, upper and lower rad hoses, thermostat and coolant switch in the rad as mine were all 13 years old and worn to hell. So, I then spent 3 days trying to get coolant to flow through the engine, total no go, we all thought the water pump was TOAST !! Had the car towed by porters towing today to Toyota Plaza, dropped her off at 2 pm.

4:45 Toyota calls says the car is working fine I can pick her up. I was like, WTF !! I siad is the mechanic sure ? He said yeah, but they'll keep her overnight and test it all again in the moring if I like, I said yeah please.

4:50 Toyota calls back. My coolant is only good til -7, so I say go ahead and replace it and I'll cover it in the morning.

So, they figure the car was severly air locked (apparntly 90-93 2.2L celicas are bad for air locking and the cooling system should be serviced only at the dealer....dually noted) They figure the ride on the tow truck freed up the air..... I was like WTF !!!

I love my car.
