car keeps dying

hey guys,

got a problem. my 89 celica GT suddenly keep dying on me. the fuel pump is new, and there are no vaccum leaks. the car was working perfectly.

now when i start the car it just idles at about 400rpm and then dyes. i tryed messing with the idle didnt help.

i was wondering if it could be the Air Flow Meter. i hate those damn things.

i disconnected the AFM and there was no change. notting is showing up on the diognostic light.

my car has a 96 3sgte

I don't really have a answer but the same thing happened with my 86 Mr2 but then the timing chain snapped so it doesn't start at all
