2000 Celica GT 5-speed 1/4 miles question

What should a stock 2000 Celica GT 5 speed run in the 1/4 mile?

With a low curb weight and 140 HP it shoud be good I think

5-speed i think mid 15's

Fastest i've run was a 16.389 w/CAI not sure alt. or temp.

My car has 110k on it but has been maintained well by owners.

Fastest i've heard was a 15.9

Average should be about 16.5

GT-s is low 15's

Also in some year(s), 03-04 maybe, limiter was reduced so it couldn't get the rpms needed might be higher time as well.

Went to the track with same car 2001 celica gt 5spd w/ CAI 110k miles

Weather was cooler,tires were all less than half tread, ran 16.155

My friend made a pass and ran 16.066

I'd say with the weather nice and ok tires the 15.9 is definetly a possiblilty even on a stock 2000 GT

-I did take out spare tire and jack for this run..spare tire was about 30lbs and jack maybe ten-fifteen lbs, guess I should mention I weigh 170 lbs

I'd race a snail if I had a fair snail to race against.
If I had the money to boost or desire to own a different car I would be faster or have another car.

This is here for anyone that wants information on a Celica GT in a quarter mile because there isn't much to find on it.(ableit not many drag a FWD 140hp Celica)

same car as above, ran a 15.936 @ ~86 with decently cooler weather. Launch had to be relatively spinning tires, wheel hopping ruined it.

Some room for improvement but not much, I pushed pretty hard on it to get the time.

(launched at ~2100 RPM)

I agree it's slow still but seeing that 15 made me feel a lot better : D
