Broken power window question URGENT!

I have a 98 Celica 2DR Convertible in the shop and the Toyota mechanics want to charge $1500 to repair the rear passenger window. As far as I can tell, the window has simply fallen off the track and can't roll up completely. They're claiming the regulator arm is bent.

Is this $1500 price normal because it seems a bit high for a window rep

If its at the dealership i may see them charging that much but most of it would be for labor....its pretty simple to fix the problem but if you know somone that knows what their doin I would consider payin them to help me out...youll get off cheaper and i dont trust too many ppl at a dealership!!

If you want somebody competent to fix it, take it to an autobody shop. They would probably be able to do it for a 10th of that price.

Dealer not gonna "fix" anything. They'll replace everything. Take it apart and fix it yourself.
