NEWBIE....i want to know engine codes

Hey...Im new to imports.. Ive only owned domestic vehicles and I only know about domestic vehicles...it seems so easy talkin about domestic engines cause their simple...I just wanna know some of the engine codes...like I have a 2000 celica GTS and I know it has a 1.8 DOHC but I wanna know the code for it...and then ppl are talkin about the 3sgte and everything...its kinda a lot to take in everything but if yall could provide me with this much needed information id would be more than greatful....thanks in advance!!

You are looking at a 2ZZ GE engine that has variable valve timing and lift intelligence (VVTL-i).

Kwanza, that site says that the 3rd gen 3SGTE has
300HP@5700 369ft/lb@3750 I'm sure that is at the crank... right? Is that site accurate?

That's the race engine specs used in the ST205 Rally car and the Corolla Rally car. Engine

Actual specs, which range from 245-255 (depending on basic model or WRC model)
