Who has got one? custom made or other wise.

Where does your filter sit, and how do you like it overall? did you have a regualr short hot air intake before? what differance did you notice?

Thanks in advance,

I own a 1990 celica GT-S and I was looking around for a cold air intake but I could not seem to find one anywhere. There are short ram intakes but cold air is somewhat better horsepower wise. I decided to ask exhaust systems to custom make me a cold air intake. I borrowed this guys idea from http://www.henryvo.com about making a cold air intake. The pipe goes over the transmission and goes down toward the plastic panel under the engine right next to the relay box next to the battery. I have my KN filter facing down. I went to the hardware store and bought a 2 1/2 inch rubber nipple to fit the pipe to the intake manifold. It made a slight difference in horsepower but the sound that comes from the intake is very throaty. I had to cut a opening in the plastic panel under the engine where the filter sits so it can catch the cold air running under the car but watch out for deep puddles.
